Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of doormatch (doormatch.io, doormatch.co.il, and related apps). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. Operator: Nate Alexeev, Israel. Contact: nate@doormatch.io.

2. What doormatch is

A platform connecting people looking for a home with real-estate agents and landlords. We provide search, applications, viewing scheduling, messaging, and contract tools. We are not a party to any rental agreement, we don't own or manage listed properties, and we are not a real-estate broker.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or older. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Keep your credentials secure — activity under your account is your responsibility. One account per person or company.

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

• post fake or misleading listings or applications
• discriminate against seekers or landlords on grounds protected by law
• scrape or harvest data
• interfere with or reverse-engineer the service
• impersonate others
• use the service for anything unlawful

5. Listings and content

Agents and landlords are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings. You keep ownership of content you upload (listings, photos, messages, documents) and grant us a license to host, process, and display it to operate the service. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.

6. Applications, viewings, contracts

We transmit applications and documents between seekers and agents, schedule viewings, and provide electronic signing tools. Any rental contract is between tenant and landlord — verify your counterparty and make sure the contract meets the legal form requirements of your country. We don't guarantee any application leads to a viewing, or any viewing to a contract.

7. AI features

Some summaries, descriptions, and drafts are AI-generated. They can contain errors. Review before relying on them; they are not legal or financial advice.

8. Fees

doormatch is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, we'll announce them clearly — you'll never be charged silently.

9. Intellectual property

The platform, software, and doormatch brand are ours. Your content stays yours (see section 5).

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee you'll find a home or a tenant, that listings are accurate, or that the service is available without interruption.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages or for dealings between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your mandatory consumer rights.

13. Termination

You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Privacy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll announce material changes; continued use after that means acceptance.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
